Test offers for link redirects with Evertrack Checker

With our Checker, you can easily find out what intermediaries are involved in promoting your offer and if there is a broken offer link.
Transparency has always been the basis for effective mobile campaign management. However, with the growing number of intermediaries (affiliates, publishers, tech platforms and solution providers) in-app marketing, it gets hard for advertisers and networks to keep their sources as transparent as possible while maximizing ad performance.

App advertisers want to be sure that their ad campaigns are being run by allowed types of promotion. Mobile networks, in their turn, monitor their offers and affiliates to detect forbidden activities such as wrong destination pages or broken links.

To help address these issues and keep affiliate tracking transparent, we have created “Checker”, a link testing tool that lets you track mobile offers for redirects, intermediaries, and landing pages. Starting today Checker is available for all subscribed users.

Checker is an integral part of Evertrack, so you don’t need to use any 3rd-party link tracking solution outside Evertrack functionality to test and verify your mobile offers.

With Evertrack’s Checker, you can easily find out what intermediaries are involved in promoting your offer and if there is a broken offer link not redirecting users to the designated page.

No more deadlink offers

As we all know, mobile offers are redirected from one network to another down to the app store (Google Play or Apple App Store) which is the final destination. This redirect path is the stumbling rock for CPA marketers since even one wrong redirect can break the whole chain, causing a waste of budget.

Checker catches offer’s redirects and verifies the final destination. The current version allows testing offer URLs manually. An API version with full automation is on our to-do list to be addressed in the upcoming few months.

Checker ensures that the tracking link of an offer “works”, allowing you to:
  • Find offers that redirect to broken links or wrong destinations
  • Verify designated landing page (Apple App Store or Google Play Market)
  • See the full redirect path: from network to network down to the app store

How to use Checker

Go to one of the offers available in your Evertrack dashboard, click the Checker tab, choose “Platform” (Android/iOS) and “Country” and hit the “Check” button. After Checker finishes its work, you will get the results. See an example below:
